NASCAR Phoenix 500 spring –

RULES FOR VISITORS

The grandstand sits at the exit of Curva Parabolica, giving you an excellent look at the cars accelerating through the final metres before they peel off toward the pit-lane entry. That’s a clear plus versus Section 23B, where the sightline is more restricted.

As with any NASCAR weekend, everyone attending the NASCAR Cup Series race at Phoenix Raceway must follow the venue’s rules. Security staff will be on hand throughout the event to help ensure a safe, smooth experience for all guests.

Prohibited items

To protect guest safety and keep the event running comfortably, Phoenix Raceway does not allow items that could create a hazard, disrupt the weekend, or inconvenience others. This also includes unauthorised resale of tickets or merchandise.

All guests must go through security screening at entry. If you refuse inspection, you may be denied access with no refund. To avoid delays at the gates, it’s best to check the Speedway’s official prohibited-items list before you travel. Common restrictions include (this is not a full list):

  • Aerosol cans (except sunscreen, sunblock, hand sanitizer, and bug spray)
  • Alcohol
  • Bags/backpacks/containers larger than the permitted size
  • Collapsible chairs
  • Coolers (foam or hard-sided of any size)

What you can bring

For the easiest race-day experience, keep it simple and pack only the essentials. Handy items include your phone, a power bank or spare camera batteries, a bit of cash, and your ticket(s) for each day. Adults should bring a valid photo ID, and it’s smart to have identification for children in your group as well. Lighter bags mean faster screening and more time to enjoy the on-track action.
